England - Yorkshire to Peak District

Calke's Augustinian Priory did not last here for long as the religious leaders moved to the nearby town of Repton. The priory was dissolved by Henry VIII in 1538 as part of his English Reformation, separating the Church of England from the Catholic Pope's authority.
